We are delighted to announce that on Sunday 26th May 2013 Jamtan will be performing at the 2013 Chorlton Arts Festival.
Come along and see Jamtan performing traditional West African drum music on The Green at Chorlton Arts Festival on Sunday 26th May 2013.
Our performance is on the open-air stage on the village green in front of the Horse and Jockey pub and will begin at 1.30pm, so don’t be late.
Following the performance we invite you to join a free workshop hosted by our Senegalese master-drummer Adama between 3pm and 4.30pm. All abilities are welcome, but there are a limited number of djembes available, so please bring your own, if you can.
Dancing, relaxing and grooving are all encouraged, so come along and enjoy some African music and culture in the sun – hopefully. 😉
